Out of The Blue uses high quality plastisol inks for 95% of our screen printing. Plastisol ink is a PVC based ink that is extremely versatile and user friendly. When applied correctly, the ink is forced through a mesh screen to sit on top of the fabric, and then heated to bond the ink to the fibers of the garment, creating a long-lasting decoration.

It all starts with the art! Having the correct artwork files is crucial to how your final product will turn out. While we at Out of The Blue can print using a JPEG with a resolution of 300dpi or higher, we prefer vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator or photoshop. If you are not sure what a vector format file is, don’t panic. We are here to help. Please contact us and our design team will walk you through this process.

We do not publish our pricing. Every order has multiple variables that affect the price. Please call, email or fill out our quotation request to get a quote on your project. Once we have seen the art, know the project specifics, and a rough quantity, we can generate a price. If you are shopping for screen printing, embroidery, direct to garment printing or promotional products, we want the opportunity to earn your business!

Turn Time
Out of The Blue offers a standard turn-time of 10 business days max in most cases from when we have finalized artwork and garments in hand. If you need your project faster we have options, however a rush charge may be applied.

Misprints/Garment Flaws
While we pride ourselves on producing high quality finished products, just like anything in manufacturing, mistakes do happen. If we ever have a misprint or defective garment, we notify the client immediately to go over options. In most cases we will either order a replacement garment, or remove the item from the invoice.
