Environmental Responsibility

Out of the Blue’s sustainability strives for new recycling methods and implements the use of Eco-friendly products. One of our best practices is recycling the aluminum frames used in the screen-printing process. The frames are stretched for more uses, then recycled when they can’t be used anymore. Also, we emit less waste by washing our shop rags for multiple uses! We recycle cardboard, paper, and lumber as well throughout the operations phases. The following sections cover our production supplies and some of our products.

The use of water-soluble, green chemicals in our shop are safe for the environment and the availability of organic products from the manufacturing process is environmentally sustainable. Customers have the option to buy organic, or recycled materials for their designs and projects. Organic farming practices by our suppliers helps achieve sustainable solutions and methods. Some of our items are proudly made in the USA.

The inks we use in the screen-printing process are the industry’s innovative, phthalate-compliant, plastisol inks and are demanded by the leading clothing brands today. These inks are user-friendly and safer to work with in production.

Out of the Blue makes a positive impact on the local community by helping nonprofit charities and youth organizations! We are proud to help organizations such as Cupid’s Charity Run, HOBY Colorado Youth Organization, and The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver, along with many other charities and nonprofits. One of our goals is to provide excellent customer service. We are happy to know we help organizations spread awareness for their missions and make a difference in the community.

Our partnership with the hometown Denver Broncos is an exciting honor and the Broncos FIT program is another example of how we contribute to community-driven events. To see our shirt designs for the Broncos and for the various nonprofits we help, check out our Facebook page @otbshirts under photos, or learn more about the charities and nonprofits on our timeline.

Out of the Blue is confident when using the newest, latest, top-of-the-line equipment.
