Slappy Alan Jackson Grimes – RIP
Slappy was the first unofficial mascot of Out of the Blue. All of the delivery drivers and postal workers will tell you that Slappy was always there to greet them when they made their daily visits. OTB clients often had the opportunity to meet Slappy as well. Slappy will be remembered fondly for never turning down the opportunity to make a new friend and kiss a friendly face.
Gator Grimes – RIP
Gator joined the OTB family in December of 2012. He was quite the athlete and enjoyed being at the shop every day. He loved meeting new people and visiting with our clients and delivery drivers. He looked forward to his daily walk and was always sure to remind us when it was time to go. Gator never missed an opportunity to visit with an OTB client and was always there to greet people at the front door of the shop. He was an amazing hunter but had a very gentle spirit. Gator was a major part of our lives and will be missed greatly by many.
Muttley “The Mutt-Man” Grimes
Muttley came into our lives in March of 2015. At only eight weeks old, he brought plenty of joy and energy to our home and shop. The Mutt-Man spent four weeks at a board and train program through Top Dog Protection in Denver. He received basic obedience training and picked up some excellent manners as well. Muttley is one laid back dude. He is mellow to the max and likes to lounge in various areas around the shop. He also enjoys his walks to the new park on the Platte River behind us. He’s good at getting a rise out of the geese and playing in the water. He’s never turned down a belly scratch and greets everyone with his warm and welcoming personality. Be sure to pay a visit to this handsome young buck when you come in.
