Out of the Blue is printing shirts for the UCAN Serve Americorps program based out of Metro State College of Denver. UCAN Serve is a part-time AmeriCorps program with 37 participating sites in Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. UCAN Serve is a campus-based program, engaging students and community members in meaningful service to address critical needs in local communities through higher education. OTB is excited to be working with an organization that gives so much back to the community and hopes that they will be able to partner on future projects as well.

Out of the Blue recently met with representatives from the City of Northglenn and reached an agreement in which they will continue to be the single source for all of the city’s screen printing and embroidery needs for at least the next year. OTB bid on the contract in 2008 and won. They’ve since screen printed and embroidered thousands of items for the city’s different departments ranging from the Water Treatment facilities to the Recreation Center. Out of the Blue is honored to hold such an exclusive contract and hopes to continue to provide the City of Northglenn with exceptional products and customer service in the years to come.

KIFAC (kĭf´•ak) was founded in Denver in 2003 by a group of friends who decided to simply get together and form their own summer kickball league. From there, it quickly became apparent that bringing together people to do fun things offered a great opportunity to raise a little money for charity.

The idea was simple; gather people together in an incredibly fun activity and donate a bit of the participation fee to a charity in need . . . a win-win situation. Since that beginning, the kickball league has expanded and has added new events, with more to come.

Out of the Blue was privileged to earn KIFAC’s business and to be part of such a great cause. Thus far OTB has printed nearly 3,000 shirts for KIFAC’s Spring and Summer leagues and hopes to be part of the Fall league beginning in August as well. Out of the Blue launched their new website on Thursday June 24, 2010. Several pages from the old site were removed, revamped or redone completely. There is now a quotation and order request form complete with the ability to upload and send artwork files. Other changes include custom catalogs containing apparel and promotional items, a Team page and Artwork page. OTB has Live Consulting in Denver, CO to thank for the great new site.
